Fenwright Manor is a multi- media Haunted House project that began in May of 1996. The physical aspect started as Halloween props and set decoration. The ultimate goal is for it to be constructed as a Spookhouse Attraction.

Catherine Fenwright Cartoon concept

In the spirit of transforming my skull mask into a cartoon version back in 2009,  I have completed a long planned cartoon version of the lady of the house, Catherine Fenwright in her ghost shroud.

2 year commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the project

This picture is to get your attention
I've decided to start the 20th anniversary of this haunted house project one year early.  In late May 1996, I drew the first house that would become the exterior facade of what would become Fenwright Manor.  While there is no news, I wanted to put something up to show I have not abandoned this project.

The two stages of the Catherine Fenwright portrait

This is the "normal" stage

This the "scary" stage

This portrait was originally conceived as a normal portrait, but I had the idea that someday I would paint a skeletal version.  The second stage is a 2004 repaint, and I decided to make it a vampiress painting.  The first stage is a digitally altered to look normal, since it was a scan of the actual portrait.  I had painted the eyes with a fluorescent orange paint to make them glow under a black light.

Memories from the distant past.

The future of this attraction is in jeopardy, all the concept art and protype props were lost with storage. Not to mention that serious captial is needed to fund and build this ride. It's been off and on since May 1996, and always gets put on the back burner. I don't know if this will ever get built and it's hard for me to ask for investors or look into getting a loan or grant.

Everything is gone

The future of this blog is in serious question.  I am beside myself after learning our storage was sold out from under us.  I mean what storage sells the contents of a unit after being late two months?  My brother called every month to explain our situation, and was assured they would work with us on a payment plan.  Everything is gone,  paintings, props, notes, pictures, plans, decorations....  it's all irreplaceable.   I don't know what I'm going to do, maybe I will leave these blogs open or maybe I will delete them 'cause I'm so damn depressed.
